If you completed an enrollment for an ACA plan and made your binder premium payment online, please watch your payment method to make sure the premium payment is posted. The carrier will mail your ID card after they process your first month’s premium payment.
If you need to make a manual premium payment, the carrier should mail you an invoice. Please note that during open enrollment, January premiums MUST be paid before December 25th for you to have coverage in the new year.
If you prefer to call to do a pay by phone or don’t get the invoice, please wait 2-5 business days for the carrier to receive and process your enrollment data from Connect for Health Colorado. Then call the carrier’s billing department at the phone number in the section below and tell them:
“I enrolled through the Connect for Health Colorado marketplace on (Enrollment Date) and I’m calling to make the binder premium on my new enrollment through the Connect for Health Colorado marketplace.”
Read that word for word to them, so the customer service rep looks in the right database to find your new enrollment. You should also be able to enroll in autopay at the same time as you make your binder premium payment.
