Pediatric Dental – Required By Law

Many people are surprised to see that they are required to have Pediatric Dental Coverage, which is one of the federal government’s 10 essential health benefits.  Pediatric Dental is relatively inexpensive and provides health insurance benefits to children up to age 19.

All new health insurance policies that begin on January 1st, 2014 and later are required to have Pediatric Dental Benefits, regardless of your age, gender or if you have children.  While some health insurance policies allow you to bypass purchasing Pediatric Dental Insurance, if you do not have this coverage you can be fined for not having an ObamaCare compliant policies.
