CoverColorado Closing in January

CoverColorado Closing in January

September 3rd, 2013 – In Colorado, over 14,000 people have coverage through CoverColorado.  CoverColorado is Colorado’s high risk pool that insures people with difficult to insure health conditions.  Founded in 1991, CoverColorado operates as a non-profit organization.

With ObamaCare, starting on January 1st, 2014, no one can be denied insurance because of a health condition, so there will no longer be a need for the CoverColorado program after 2013.  CoverColorado clients have until December 15th to apply for one of the new ObamaCare plans for a January 1st, 2014 effective date.

People currently insured by CoverColorado will have a wealth of choices available to them for the new year, including:

  • 299 plans outside the exchange and they are all fully ObamaCare compliant.
  • 150 individual plans inside the exchange.
  • 92 plans for small business inside the exchange.
  • National, regional and local PPO and HMO network providers.

If you are a CoverColorado member, get help from Colorado Health Insurance Brokers to shop the hundreds of plan options inside and outside the exchange.

How do we find out where we will buy insurance if we are currently on Cover Colorado? And how much will it cost? SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!! Tons of info out there but NOTHING regarding what it will cost specifically. And it starts October 1????????????? Typical Obama-type COMPLETELY MORONIC idea! What a complete imbecile we have in the White House. So embarrassed for our country!

We will be happy to help you and give you quotes as soon as everything comes online in October.
You’ll have plenty of time, as you have until Dec 15th to enroll in a new plan for a January 1st effective date. We’ll quote plans both on and off the exchange for you to help you find the best plan.
