December 1st, 2010 – Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Colorado just made their new “Anthem Care Comparison” tool available to all Anthem Members. This innovative tool lets members compare how much their local hospitals charge for common surgeries and other services.
With Anthem Care Comparison, members can:
- See the costs of nearly 60 different surgeries and procedures at local hospitals, outpatient surgery centers and free-standing radiology facilities.
- See cost data for doctor office visits and chiropractic office visits.
- View quality of service data at different hospitals for over 160 inpatient procedures.
- See how often the hospital or facility performs each procedure.
- Read reviews from patients about their experiences at local hospitals.
